Theatre Not Afternoon Tea

When your neighbours are Shakespeare’s Globe, the Old Vic and the National Theatre, it’s hard not to feel inspired.

So inspired, in fact, that the chefs at OXO Tower have created an entire Not Afternoon Tea experience dedicated to London’s iconic theatres and the famous productions that have taken place within them. Consisting of indulgent desserts expertly paired with mouth-watering cocktails, the new Theatre Not Afternoon Tea is a thespian’s dream.

The first act will begin at the Globe with a sour cherry and bergamot-filled skull and a goblet of Hamlet’s poison. For the main act, there's a quartet of cakes, each representing a famous show and paired with a complimentary cocktail. The production will conclude with a beautiful homemade gingerbread biscuit, but you’ll have to guess which smash hit it represents. This will be served alongside a pot of tea, because this is London after all.

And the final encore? Now that's the surprise.
