Women's Leadership Network Conference 2018

On March 8th, International Women’s Day, the Women’s Leadership Network will host their Annual Conference at Morley College London. Leaders and aspiring leaders from further education and the private sector will examine how employers and employees can do more to release their own inherent talents and those of their colleagues.

The conference programme will draw together a wide range of experts to look at some of these challenges, bring ideas together and find solutions. Confirmed speakers include:

  • Dr Carole Edmond, CEO of The Regard Group and speaker on the findings of her doctoral thesis on 'female attainment'.
  • Jessica Leitch, Principal at Adaptive Lab and author of publications such as The 10 Principles of Strategic Leadership' and Hidden Talent.  
  • Toni Eastwood OBE, Beyond 2030 and former head of Talent for WM Morrisons is confirmed as a keynote speaker. She will be sharing exclusive insight from her new book ‘Unlocking your talent and potential - The six secrets to success’ in an interactive session open to all delegates.
  • Pauline Stewart, Chief Enabling Officer for Inspiration, a strong advocate for the advancement of women and author of highly acclaimed 'Walking with Wolves' and 'Women in Leadership, In a Different Voice'.

As well as the confirmed keynote speakers, there will be 5 inspirational and interactive workshops where the conference theme will be explored in more detail. 

This year’s conference promises to be the most inspiring and influential yet, there are only 100 tickets available so please go to the ETF website to secure yours now. Funding from the ETF (Education and Training Foundation) enables us to offer 20 free places to women who work or are students in the post- 16 Further Education and training sector and who are aspiring women leaders or women who are thinking about leadership, particularly those who identify with other protected characteristics and experience other barriers to progression.
