Presenting a diverse line-up of music and performing arts, Queen Elizabeth Hall (QEH) is the Southbank Centre’s second largest concert hall hosting orchestras, quartets, choirs, dance and opera. There are also two smaller venues, Purcell Room and Front Room which host chamber music, literature, spoken word, mime and solo recitals both free and paid for. From April - September 2011, the Southbank Centre site will be transformed for the Festival of Britain 60th Anniversary celebrations, celebrating British talent and creativity with the biggest cross-arts festival South Bank has seen since the original festival in 1951.
