BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL

The BFI London Film Festival is back this October!

The festival, which has been running since 1953, is the UK’s largest public festival of its kind and is visited by thousands of film enthusiasts who have the ability to see over 300 films, documentaries and shorts from all over the world. 

Come see a collection of top international films that otherwise may not be seen in the British cinemas, as well as awards ceremonies for the most original and creative film-makers. There will be awards presented for: 

  • Best Film; it is presented to the most original, imaginative and creative motion picture
  • Best British Newcomer; it is presented to emerging British talents
  • The Sutherland Trophy; the award (named after George Sutherland-Leverson-Gower, 5th Duke of Sutherland) is presented to the most original film that is screened during the Festival
  • The Grierson Award; it is presented to the best documentary screened during the Festival
