Gillray's Steakhouse Goes Vegan

Renowned for the succulent steaks and freshly caught seafood, Gillray’s isn’t an obvious choice for vegans, granted.

However, head Chef Jamie Welch has got creative in the kitchen with slightly different produce and designed a delicious vegan menu, just in time for Veganuary. A first for the restaurant, the three-course set menu will be available throughout January for only £29, including a refreshing Mocktail and mouth-watering dishes that are sure to convert any meat-eater, even if it’s just for the month.

Dishes such as cauliflower fritters with Hollandaise and truffle, or aubergine and lentil dahl with an orange and coriander salad can be seen in the menu. Leave space for dessert, and don’t feel guilty for indulging in the vegan dark chocolate mousse with seasonal berries or the caramelised apple crumble with homemade pear sorbet.
