Christmas Storytelling with Michael Rosen

Much-loved children's author and poet, Micheal Rosen presents a cosy morning of winter tales at The Old Vic this Christmas season.

Reading from his books, Bah! Humbug! and Unexpected Twist: An Oliver Twisted Tale, he re-imagines two of Dickens classics in a most animated and festive manner.

Tickets are £6 for children and £12 for adults. There will also be the chance to get your very own book signed at the end.

EXPERIENCE THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE AT THE OLD VIC.

Under the artistic direction of Matthew Warchus, The Old Vic presents an exciting and eclectic programme of new writing, classic plays, musicals, dance and variety.

With a unique sense of event at every performance, this 200 year old building is one of London’s best-loved and oldest theatres. Located just a stone's throw away from Waterloo Station, the theatre has had a fascinating history with several incarnations - including being the original home of the National Theatre of Great Britain before it found it's permanent spot on the South Bank. The venue made headlines when it announced in 2003 that Kevin Spacey would become Artistic Director, being succeeded by Matthew Warchus in 2015.

Today The Old Vic acknowledges it's deep theatrical roots whilst focusing on invigorating new writing with works that engage in diverse conversation.
